EI What is EI? EI stands for Emotional Intelligence.It is used as a tool to measure a person's emotional intelligence. Case 1 A young man , age 22 , a Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) final year student committted suicide by falling to his death from an apartment in Sungai Dua, moments after posting an apology to his family members on Facebook. His family and friends were puzzled over his death but it was learnt that he could have been upset over his latest examination results. Before his suicide attempt, he had called his family members.
