The rate of people committing suicide has increased to 60%, over the decades worldwide.
According to World Health Organisation's (WHO) report, almost one million people die from suicide globally, which is 16 per 100,000;equivalent to one death every 45 seconds.In the earlier times, suicide rates have been highest among the male elderly.But, in recent years,rates among the young have been increasing steadily to such an extent that now they are the group at highest risk in a third of countries.This phenomena is sweeping through both developed and developing countries.
